The Atlantic Ocean is a vast expanse that has seen everything from the dawn of global commerce to the hubristic attempt to visit a shipwreck in a carbon-fiber tube.
Despite its status as a critical climate regulator, the Atlantic Ocean is apparently less interesting to some political administrations than the prospect of gutting the very monitoring systems that keep us from drowning.
