A disproportionately large, sudden coastal wave that surges much further up the beach than preceding waves, often catching beachgoers off guard.
A colloquial term for a rogue-like wave occurrence in a wave train, known for its ability to drag unsuspecting individuals into the ocean with deceptive force.
