Piculín Ortiz is the nickname of José Rafael Ortiz Rijos (October 25, 1963 – May 5, 2026), a legendary Puerto Rican professional basketball player known as one of the greatest in Puerto Rican basketball history.
He played as a power forward/center in the NBA for the Utah Jazz, won eight championships in Puerto Rico's Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN), competed in four Olympics, and was inducted into the FIBA Hall of Fame in 2019.
