Gavin McKenna is a Canadian ice hockey forward born on December 20, 2007, in Whitehorse, Yukon, widely regarded as one of the top prospects for the 2026 NHL Entry Draft.
He rose to prominence with the Medicine Hat Tigers in the Western Hockey League (WHL), where he was named CHL and WHL Rookie of the Year in 2023-24 after scoring 97 points in 61 games.
Currently playing college hockey for Penn State University in the NCAA, McKenna recently made headlines by scoring a hat trick for Team Canada at the 2026 IIHF World Junior Championship against Denmark.
