Lambrini Girls
Definition
Lambrini Girls is an English punk rock duo from Brighton, formed in 2019, named after Lambrini, a cheap perry brand stereotypically linked to young, undiscriminating female drinkers—self-described as 'toilet wine for sluts.'
The band, featuring guitarist-vocalist Phoebe Lunny and bassist Selin Macieira-Boşgelmez, blends riot grrrl fury with influences from Bikini Kill, Le Tigre, and the Spice Girls, tackling feminism, queer issues, toxic masculinity, and social critique in their raw, frenzied sound.
Known for hits like 'Help Me I'm Gay,' 'Big Dick Energy,' and their 2025 debut album Who Let the Dogs Out, which topped the UK Rock & Metal Chart.
