A masculine given name of Arabic origin, derived from 'habib', meaning 'beloved', 'dear', or 'friend'.
Most famously, Khabib Nurmagomedov (born 1988), a retired Russian mixed martial artist of Avar ethnicity, former UFC Lightweight Champion with an undefeated professional record of 29–0.
