J.G. Quintel, born James Garland Quintel on September 14, 1982, is an American animator, storyboard artist, director, writer, producer, and voice actor.
He is best known for creating the Cartoon Network series Regular Show (2010–2017), where he also provided the voice for the character Mordecai.
Quintel also created the animated short The Naive Man from Lolliland, which served as the basis for Regular Show, and later developed the series Close Enough for TBS.
