Definition
A critically acclaimed HBO fantasy television series (2022–present), serving as a prequel to Game of Thrones, based on George R.R. Martin's novel Fire & Blood. It chronicles the Targaryen dynasty's internal conflicts, civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons, and epic dragon battles.
In the fictional universe of George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series, an informal reference to House Targaryen, the royal dragon-riding family central to the prequel storyline.
