A long-running British science fiction television series produced by the BBC since 1963, featuring the adventures of 'the Doctor', an alien Time Lord who travels through time and space in a disguised spaceship called the TARDIS.
The titular character of the series, an enigmatic, regenerating humanoid alien from the planet Gallifrey who combats universal threats while exploring history and the cosmos.
