郑丽文
Definition
Cheng Li-wen (鄭麗文, Zhèng Lìwén) is a Taiwanese politician serving as the chairperson of the Kuomintang (KMT), Taiwan's main opposition party, since November 2025.
She graduated from National Taiwan University's Faculty of Law, earned a Master of Laws from Temple University in the US, and a Master's in International Relations from the University of Cambridge in the UK.
Formerly with the Democratic Progressive Party before switching to the KMT in 2005, she has served as a legislator, KMT spokesperson roles, and recently met Xi Jinping in April 2026 to discuss cross-strait relations.
