The Washington Commanders are a professional American football team in the National Football League (NFL), competing in the NFC East division and based in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.
Formerly known as the Washington Redskins (until 2020) and the Washington Football Team (2020-2021), the franchise rebranded to the Commanders in 2022, playing home games at Commanders Field in Landover, Maryland.
