Wanda Barzee (born October 7, 1945) is an American criminal best known as the accomplice to Brian David Mitchell in the 2002 kidnapping of 14-year-old Elizabeth Smart from her Salt Lake City home.
Barzee, who was Mitchell's wife at the time, was convicted in 2009 of kidnapping and aggravated sexual assault, serving a 15-year sentence before her release on parole in 2018, with subsequent violations leading to re-arrests.
