Truist Championship
Definition
The Truist Championship is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour, one of its eight Signature Events, held annually in early May with a $20 million purse.
Formerly known as the Wells Fargo Championship (2011–2024), Wachovia Championship (2003–2008), and Quail Hollow Championship (2009–2010), it is primarily hosted at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Organized by Champions for Education to benefit Teach for America, the event features stroke play on a challenging par-71 course known for its demanding 'Green Mile' finishing holes.
