Sharon Tate (1943–1969) was an American actress and model, best known for her roles in films like Valley of the Dolls (1967) and The Wrecking Crew (1968), and as the wife of director Roman Polanski.
She became a tragic figure in true crime history as one of the victims in the Manson Family murders on August 9, 1969, while eight-and-a-half months pregnant.
