PGE outage
Definition
A power outage or electricity service interruption affecting customers of Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), a major utility provider in Northern and Central California, often due to severe weather, wildfires, maintenance, or public safety power shutoffs.
In some contexts, particularly Oregon, it refers to outages by Portland General Electric (PGE), but PG&E is the more commonly referenced in outage discussions.
