A city in central Mexico, capital and largest city of the state of Hidalgo, situated in the Sierra Madre Oriental, renowned for its historic silver mines and the professional football club C.F. Pachuca (Los Tuzos).
(slang, dated) Feminine equivalent of 'pachuco': a young Mexican-American woman associated with the zoot suit subculture, flashy attire, and distinctive pachuco jargon from the 1930s-1940s.
