Matthew Rhys (born Matthew Rhys Evans on November 4, 1974) is a Welsh actor best known for his role as Philip Jennings, a Soviet KGB officer posing as an American travel agent, in the acclaimed FX series The Americans (2013–2018).
He also gained prominence portraying Kevin Walker, an openly gay lawyer, in the ABC family drama Brothers & Sisters (2006–2011), and later starred as Perry Mason in the HBO miniseries adaptation.
