Kyle Howard Rittenhouse (born January 3, 2003) is an American conservative activist who gained national attention at age 17 for shooting three men during the Kenosha unrest in 2020, killing two and wounding one, before being acquitted of all criminal charges on self-defense grounds.
Post-acquittal, Rittenhouse has become a prominent Second Amendment advocate, firearms instructor, public speaker at universities, and founder of the Rittenhouse Foundation dedicated to gun rights.
