Kristin Smart

Kristin Smart (February 27, 1977 – May 25, 1996) was a 19-year-old American college freshman at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, who was murdered by fellow student Paul Flores after attending an off-campus party.
Her disappearance in 1996 remained a cold case for over 25 years until Flores was convicted of first-degree murder in 2022 and sentenced to 25 years to life in prison.
