Kevin McKidd (born 9 August 1973) is a Scottish actor, television director, and musician, best known for portraying Dr. Owen Hunt in the ABC medical drama Grey's Anatomy from 2008 to 2026.
He first gained recognition for his role as Tommy MacDonald in the 1996 film Trainspotting and later voiced Lord MacGuffin in Disney's Brave (2012).
Following his departure from Grey's Anatomy after 18 seasons, McKidd has been cast as the lead in ITV's upcoming thriller 'The Only Suspect'.
