John Tortorella is an American professional ice hockey coach, born June 24, 1958, in Boston, Massachusetts. As of March 29, 2026, he serves as the head coach of the Vegas Golden Knights in the NHL.
Renowned for his outspoken and confrontational style, Tortorella led the Tampa Bay Lightning to the 2004 Stanley Cup championship, won the Jack Adams Award twice, and coached the U.S. team to gold at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
