Jeff Bezos, born Jeffrey Preston Jorgensen on January 12, 1964, is an American business magnate, media proprietor, investor, computer engineer, and philanthropist. He is the founder, executive chairman, and former president & CEO of Amazon, the world's largest e-commerce and cloud computing company.
Bezos is also the founder and owner of the aerospace company Blue Origin, which develops reusable rockets for space tourism and planetary colonization, and he owns The Washington Post newspaper.
