Jayson Tatum is an American professional basketball player who plays as a small forward for the Boston Celtics in the National Basketball Association (NBA).
He is a six-time NBA All-Star (2020–2025), the 2024 NBA champion, 2023 NBA All-Star Game MVP, and a four-time All-NBA First Team selection, widely regarded as one of the league's elite scorers and all-around talents.
Born March 3, 1998, in St. Louis, Missouri, Tatum rose to prominence at Duke University before being drafted third overall by the Celtics in 2017.
