James Wood

James Irvin Wood (born September 17, 2002) is an American professional baseball outfielder for the Washington Nationals of Major League Baseball.
A highly touted prospect acquired from the San Diego Padres in the 2022 Juan Soto trade, Wood made his MLB debut on July 1, 2024, and earned his first All-Star selection in 2025.
