James Hagens

James Hagens (born November 3, 2006) is an American college ice hockey center for the Boston College Eagles in the NCAA Hockey East conference, renowned for his elite playmaking, scoring prowess, and international success.
Selected seventh overall by the Boston Bruins in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft, Hagens has set multiple records, including most points in a single IIHF World U18 Championship (2024), where he was named MVP and Best Forward.
A Hauppauge, New York native and former USA Hockey NTDP standout, he led Team USA to gold at the 2025 World Junior Championship and earned Beanpot MVP honors in 2026.
