Holi
Definition
A vibrant Hindu festival celebrated primarily in India and Nepal, marking the arrival of spring, the triumph of good over evil, and the love of Radha and Krishna, characterized by throwing colored powders (gulal), water fights, bonfires (Holika Dahan), and festive sweets.
Known as the 'Festival of Colors' or 'Festival of Love,' it typically falls in March according to the Hindu lunisolar calendar.
