A country in Central America, officially the Republic of Guatemala, bordered by Mexico to the north, the Pacific Ocean to the southwest, Belize and the Caribbean Sea to the northeast, and Honduras and El Salvador to the southeast.
Known for its ancient Mayan ruins, active volcanoes, diverse ecosystems, and as a major producer of coffee and cardamom.
