Griffin Jax (born James Griffin Jax on November 22, 1994) is an American professional baseball relief pitcher currently playing for the Tampa Bay Rays in Major League Baseball.
The first United States Air Force Academy graduate to reach MLB, Jax was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in 2016 after a standout college career, debuting with them in 2021 before being traded to the Rays in 2025.
Known for his precise pitching and military background, Jax set career highs in 2024 with a 2.03 ERA over 72 appearances while with the Twins.
