David Robinson

David Robinson (born August 6, 1965), nicknamed 'The Admiral,' is a retired American professional basketball player who starred as a center for the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA from 1989 to 2003.
A Naval Academy graduate and 10-time All-Star, he won two NBA championships (1999, 2003), the 1995 MVP award, and was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2008.
Post-retirement, he became a philanthropist, co-founding the Carver Academy charter school in San Antonio and serving as a prominent figure in education and business.
