College Board
Definition
A U.S.-based nonprofit organization that develops and administers standardized tests such as the SAT, PSAT, and Advanced Placement (AP) exams, while also providing resources for college admissions and scholarship programs.
Informally, the entity often blamed (or credited) by high school students for turning education into a high-stakes game of multiple-choice madness.
