Christina Hammock Koch is an American engineer and NASA astronaut, renowned for her record-breaking 328-day mission aboard the International Space Station from 2019 to 2020, the longest continuous spaceflight by a woman.
She participated in the first all-female spacewalk in 2019 and is a mission specialist on NASA's Artemis II, the first crewed lunar orbit mission since Apollo.
Selected as an astronaut in 2013, Koch has contributed to numerous scientific experiments and engineering tasks in space.
