Chip Kelly (born Charles Edward Kelly on November 25, 1963) is an American football coach famous for pioneering a high-speed spread offense.
His coaching career includes head coach stints at the University of Oregon Ducks (2009–2012), Philadelphia Eagles (2013), and UCLA Bruins (2018–2024), offensive coordinator roles with the San Francisco 49ers (2016), Las Vegas Raiders (fired midseason 2025), and most recently Northwestern Wildcats (hired December 2025).
