bread recall
Definition
A formal regulatory or commercial action taken when bread products are identified as posing a health risk, such as potential salmonella contamination, undeclared allergens like hazelnuts, or foreign material contamination.
The modern culinary equivalent of a 'hot potato' game, but instead of potato, it's a moldy or bacteria-ridden sandwich loaf that you have to return to the retailer before your immune system does.
Examples
