Ayatollah Alireza Arafi is a senior Iranian Shiite cleric, currently serving as the interim Supreme Leader of Iran following the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
He has been the head of Iran's seminaries since 2016, Friday Prayer Leader of Qom since 2015, and a member of the Guardian Council.
