35th Fighter Wing
Definition
A tactical fighter wing of the United States Air Force, assigned to Pacific Air Forces and headquartered at Misawa Air Base in Japan.
Responsible for providing combat-ready airpower, including F-16 Fighting Falcons and the recently introduced F-35A Lightning IIs, to protect U.S. interests in the Pacific region and defend Japan against potential adversaries.
